Music has always been very important in Dr. JR Hack life. He started his musical studies when he was seven years old with piano classes. After that, he has learned other instruments: the harmonica, saxophone, flute, guitar, tin whistle and low whistle.
Nowadays, Dr. JR Hack is a musician, singer and songwriter. He has written about 60 songs, some of these with partners. He has played his material at some music festivals and between 1996 and 2008 he contributed to 6 CDs as songwriter, singer and/or musician.
